Zapier integration with Recurpay allows merchants to trigger events and create custom Zaps.

Zapier is an online automation tool that connects different apps and services to automate workflows and tasks without requiring coding skills. It allows users to create “Zaps,” automated workflows with a trigger and one or more actions. When a specific trigger event happens in one app, Zapier performs the predefined actions in another app.

How does Zapier integration work with Recurpay?

Zapier integration with Recurpay allows merchants to automate workflows by creating “Zaps” based on specific events within the Recurpay platform. A Zap consists of two main components: a trigger and one or more actions.

How It Works:

  1. Setting Up a Zap:
    • Choose a Trigger: In Recurpay, you can select specific events as triggers, such as a new subscription, a subscription renewal, a cancellation, or any activity related to a subscription.
    • Define an Action: Zapier can perform predefined actions in other connected apps once a trigger event occurs. For example:
      • Google Sheets: Automatically add or update a row with the subscription data.
      • Slack: Send a notification to a specific channel or user.
      • Email: Send an email notification to the merchant or customer.
      • CRM: Update customer information in your CRM system.
  2. Benefits of Zapier Integration with Recurpay:
    • Automation: Eliminate manual tasks by automating workflows. For instance, Zapier can automatically add the customer’s details to a CRM or a Google Sheet when a new subscription is created.
    • Efficiency: Save time and reduce errors by ensuring that data is consistently and accurately transferred between systems.
    • Real-time Updates: Get instant notifications or data updates in other tools whenever a trigger event occurs in Recurpay.
  3. Customization:
    • Merchants can customize the triggers and actions according to their specific needs. For example, they can set up different Zaps for different subscription activities or integrate with various apps like Mailchimp, Trello, Salesforce, etc.

Example Use Case:

  • Suppose a merchant uses Recurpay to manage subscription billing. With Zapier integration, they can set up a Zap that triggers every time a new subscription is created. This Zap could then automatically:
    • Send a welcome email to the new subscriber.
    • Log the subscription details in a Google Sheet for easy tracking.
    • Post a notification in a Slack channel to inform the team.

This automation streamlines processes, ensuring timely communication and accurate data management.
